21 Best Mindset Books for Bloggers to Make You Rich
“Mindset work is bull💩.”
Lies lies Liza Minelli lies!
I 100% used to believe that mindset work was bullshit. I saw it as hippie dippy granola nonsense that really wasn’t worth my time.
I saw all those people on Tiktok and Instagram saying they made a “vision board”, which I assumed was just a hippie collage because they missed 3rd grade art projects.
Maybe you do too ?
I mean how many times have we heard someone talking about manifesting something and thought “f*ck off and do some work already!”
Or maybe I’m just supremely bitter.
But I spent most of 2021 resenting people who talked about manifesting good things just by putting them on a collage on their wall. Or who claimed you could get anything if you just believed.
That’s stuff of Disney stories, not a Forbes 500 list!
But time and time again those people kept popping up and spouting their results.
There had to be something to it.
Unexpected Manifesting
I didn’t even realize I was manifesting anything when I first put a post-it note on my desktop in 2021 that said “Mediavine 2023”.
I just thought I was putting it out there so I wouldn’t forget. So every time I decided to mess about on Facebook or slip over to Instagram to watch cute puppy videos, I’d ask myself “is this serving my main goal?”
And when it inevitably was a “no”, I’d get back to work.
It wasn’t until I read my first self-help book in 2022 (a word that I definitely would have said with disdain in 2021), that I realized … oh shit! That’s what manifesting is??!
It’s not just wanting something and wishing for it to happen. It’s actually working towards the thing to?!
Since then I’ve been on a bit of a self-help book binge.
I Got on the Mindset Treadmill
I’m fully into doing mindset work, having been in therapy since I was 7 (thanks divorced parents!). I was on the treadmill at the gym on Saturday staring at myself in the mirror doing money mantras and telling myself I’m a boss bitch.
You know what?
I felt like a power house afterwards! Even if all I’d done was walk on the treadmill and nearly pass out during a HIIT routine (…yeah moderation is not my strong suit).
I definitely used to call mindset work dumb or hippie granola or whatever. But you know what, if it works who cares??
The worst thing that could happen is you chanted a couple things in a mirror, read a book or two, or put up some post its.
Doing all these things has made me more money monthly than I ever thought I’d make in a year! Since starting with mindset, I’ve scaled my income from $5k a month to $110k!
How the f*ck did I do it? Manifesting and tracking my $$$!
I want to share some of the books that made the biggest difference to me this year – and I hope they’ll have a massive impact on you too!
Best Mindset Books I’ve Read So Far:

1. Get Rich Lucky Bitch by Denise Duffield-Thomas
Denise DT is the GOAT for mindset for women.
I read this book over the course of 3 days while hiking with my dog through the snow. I actually stayed out longer in the -30C weather just to be able to finish the audiobook faster.
Denise has a such a great voice to listen to, but more than that she says things that resonate so strongly. And it’s not just “you can do it”, it’s also “here are some ways you can do it”.
Get Rich Lucky Bitch felt like a manual to success for female entrepreneurs, especially those who can’t live that Alex Hormozi 20 hour a day work life. Her tip to track your income daily has 100% improved my income. When I’m not tracking it, it’s never as high.
I’ve re-listened to it probably 5 times – I’m pretty sure Audible is gonna start making me pay for it again soon 🤪.
If you only read one book on this list, let it be this one.

2. You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero
You Are a Badass at Making Money is the first self-help book I’ve ever read.
I read it at the advice of some friends of mine, and quickly devoured the whole thing. I loved Jen’s stories of Italy mixed in with her advice about being deserving of earning money.
I remember scaling a mountain in Ottawa with my dog listening to her talk about pricing. By the time I came down from the mountain, I had a new Black Friday offer, which ultimately led to the first $30k month for my business.
It has a lot of similarities to Denise’s book, but a bit less actionable and a bit more manifestation.
I like manifestation but I need the actions to go with it.
It’s definitely worth a read.
I tried her other book, You Are a Badass, and hated it. It was incredibly ableist and felt oddly patriarchal. So I don’t recommend that one although I know some other people who like it. But I could barely get through it.

3. Chill and Prosper by Denise Duffield-Thomas
Denise is on this list AGAIN because she’s epic.
Her book, Chill and Prosper, was formerly called “Chillpreneur”. Essentially it’s all about not being that 24/7 hustler, and actually making your business work for you.
I’m chronically ill so I can’t work 24/7 and I always felt bad about that before, like I was letting my business down.
This book is the reason I invested in a team and was able to take a full month off my business without everything collapsing around me (which I seriously thought it would have before I read it).
Once again, Denise gives clear examples of how to delegate and figure out what needs to change in your business so you can enjoy your freedom. It’s mixed in with manifestation that allows you to keep yourself in that chill mindset.
Seriously, this book is amazing and gave me my life balance back.

4. We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers
I met Rachel at a mastermind in Nashville run by Convertkit, and she is sooo epic!
This book was on my to-read list for about 6 months, but I got back into podcasts and forgot about audiobooks for a while. Upon meeting her, I realized I needed to read it ASAP.
And WOW, y’all. Rachel is a badass.
The book covers the systemic oppressions of women and especially women of colour, why most financial advice is BS (I say as I sip and expensive latte that is 100% allowed in the amazing Rachel world), and how to aim higher with your goals.
Rachel coaches you to financial freedom whether or not you own your own business. It’s all about taking back your power so we can have more than 10% female millionaires in the world.
Also, if you can ever hear her speak live, I highly recommend it!

5. Financial Feminist by Tori Dunlap
Tori is the reason I have a high interest savings account for my biz.
Tori is the Tiktok financial educator that has gone on to be a New York Times Bestseller. She actually started as a finance blogger!
Financial Feminist is her book breaking down different ways to get wealthy. It’s more about investing and making your money work for you, but I think that goes hand in hand with mindset because it helps you foster passive income.
Tori empowers you to do this yourself and not leave it to the stock market bros watching Youtube for tips or trading crypto with lingo I can’t even begin to understand.
That’s all fine, but it’s not the only way to invest. And now you’ll learn how! And how to rid yourself of debt (which I desperately needed after nearly bankrupting myself to get a service dog).

6. Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill
Napolean Hill is…troubling for me. He is very clearly a misogynist and at one point claims to have inspired Hitler which… yeah not great.
BUT I will say, he has some good tips on mindset and basically helps you realize a lot of success is just about doing the thing.
I listened to this book and his Success Habits series. I would often come home with a weird look on my face and my roommate would ask, “what did he say now?”
So read with caution and ignore some of the blatant name dropping he does. Focus more on the money and success tips he offers – and remember this was written in the early 1900s.
But listening to the book did help me understand how easy confidence comes to so many rich white men. Like they aren’t actually any better than anyone else in 90% of cases. They just have the confidence to act like they’re the best and then they follow through on their ideas.
I’ve kept it short cause you’ll need time to dive into these. But these 6 are *chefs kiss* perfection for getting your mindset together!
Listen to them on a car ride, read them while you wait for the dentist, or do a combo! Whatever works – but honestly these three books will be such a game changer for ya.
Get More with Audible!
I am fully on the audiobook train.
With ADHD and a dog who needs a ton of exercise, I do best reading on the go. So I love getting 1 ebook every month from Audible – which encourages me to keep finding new mindset books to grow my business and make me more self aware.
